Future Cement Initiative is pleased to congratulate Al-Bandari Al-Shehri Albandari Alshehri, the operator of the Central Control Room for Kilns and Mills at Southern Region Cement Company Southern Province Cement Company- SPCC, on the occasion of being honored during the Saudi Cement Conference held at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) on September 9, 2026.
Eng. Al-Bandari is one of the first Saudi women to break into the heavy industrial work environment at the Southern Region Cement Company, and have proven their competence and efficiency in one of the most technical and challenging locations in cement factories. Operating clinker furnaces and cement mills from the central control room requires high skill and real-time decision-making ability, which Engineer Al-Bandari masters with professionalism that deserves appreciation.
Honoring her today is not only a recognition of her personal career, but a clear message to every Saudi girl who aspires to work in the industry: the road is open, and models are there.
We are proud that this honor will be held under the patronage of Eng. Turki Al-Babtain, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources, and in the presence of a group of CEOs of Saudi cement companies and decision-makers.
